Drive & Smile is a high-quality complete warranty that protects the most important components in a vehicle. The warranty covers almost all permanently installed, factory-assembled mechanical and electrical components in the vehicle.
This includes the following components:
Exhaust system
Drive axle
Alternative drives
Brakes
Electrical systems
Comfort electronics
Fuel system
Power transmission shafts
Cooling system
Steering
Engine
Manual and automatic gearboxes
Safety systems
Under the complete warranty, 100% of the labour costs are always covered.
Customers only have to pay an excess for material costs from 50,000 km, as can be seen in the following table:

Acceptance guidelines
The vehicles that can be insured are passenger cars and transporters with a permissible total weight of up to 3.5 tonnes:
- With a first registration that took place no more than 12 years ago
- With a total mileage of no more than 150,000 km
- With up to 8 cylinders, electric drive or hybrid technology
- That belong to the following brand:

In general, the vehicles that cannot be insured are:
- Vehicles that are entirely or partly used for commercial passenger transport or goods transport (courier, express or parcel services) or for patient transport and transport of disabled persons
- Vehicles that are used as rental cars, courier vehicles, official vehicles and driving school vehicles or vehicles used on airfields.
- Vehicles that are registered to a vehicle dealership or workshop
- Vehicles that are in the possession of/owned by a motor vehicle dealer or motor vehicle workshop in the event of damage
- Vehicles that are sold to commercial resellers
- Vehicles from special series and small series or from pilot series
- Vehicles with fuel cell technology
- Vehicles that have undergone technical modifications, e.g. chip tuning, chassis, gas retrofitting (VW/Audi/SEAT/CUPRA/Skoda vehicles that were retrofitted with a gas system at the factory are excluded from this)
- Vehicles with a sales price under €2,000
- Vehicles that are not sold in Luxembourg
- Vehicles that are registered outside of the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland.
